Become an Uber driver with a fleet partner in Poland

Want to become an Uber driver in Poland without starting your own business? A fleet partner can provide the cooperation framework. You still need the required personal documents and an eligible vehicle.

Start with your circumstances

Tell the office your city, whether you already have a driver account and whether you need a car. Mention your driving licence and current document status. English-speaking service makes the conversation easier, but it does not replace the formal requirements.

Driver documents and verification

For Uber, prepare identification, a Polish category B driving licence, a recent criminal record certificate and current medical and psychological certificates. Uber’s published requirements specify at least one year of category B entitlement and a criminal record certificate issued within 30 days before in-person verification. Bring the original documents to the verification appointment.

Understand the partner and vehicle documents

The carrier’s taxi licence and the extract for the vehicle are separate from your own driver documents. Read how taxi licensing works. If you bring your own car, the office will also check its eligibility and documents.

From application to your first trip

  1. Choose a city and leave your contact details. Tell us whether you have your own car or need one from the fleet.
  2. Discuss the model and documents. Our English-speaking team will explain what to prepare and confirm availability.
  3. Agree the terms before starting. Your first trip depends on completed formalities, the vehicle and platform activation.

Choose a cooperation model

Shared shifts

Use a DEPartner car within an agreed shift schedule. Confirm the handover, working pattern and settlement basis with your office.

Exclusive car

Discuss a vehicle assigned to you and compare the conditions with the shared-shift model. Availability is confirmed locally.

Your own car

Tell the office the model and registration details before deciding. Vehicle eligibility and the required documents need to be checked for your city and platform.

Compare the same turnover and working assumptions when considering two models. Platform charges, the partner’s settlement terms, fuel and vehicle arrangements are separate parts of the calculation. Turnover is not automatically your take-home pay.

Ask for the applicable settlement basis, which costs are included and how weekly payments work. Confirm the conditions for your city before signing. The current calculator and its assumptions are available in Polish.

If you also want to drive with Bolt

Tell the office which apps you want to use. Ask about account setup, vehicle eligibility and the verification required by each platform. Do not assume that approval in one app activates another account.
